Meet Rebekah Your Photographer:

​

• I have lived in Stalybridge, Greater Manchester for the past 8 years, and I recently moved to Ashton-under-Lyne.

​

• My late grandparents lived in Stalybridge, so I was always coming up to visit them as a child despite growing up in Birmingham.  It always felt like a second home.

​

• I have 7 nieces and nephews that I absolutely adore and try to spoil rotten whenever I get the chance. 

​​

• I have worked at IKEA and yes, I still love shopping there and eating their meatballs. 

 

• I was diagnosed with dyslexia when I was nine and struggled in school leaving with nothing more than D grades.  However, as an adult I obtained an hons degree in Theology and followed it with a post graduate diploma in education.  

​

• I am a coffee snob, meaning no instant coffee for me.  There is nothing like sitting down with a nice cup of fresh coffee and a piece of cake.  

​

• I love to explore new places and have a particular passion for foreign cities. 

​

• When I’m not taking pictures of people, I love to escape and take pictures of landscapes and cityscapes. One of my favourite local place to photograph is Dovestone Reservoir, the views up there are amazing, I would highly recommend going up there if you’ve never visited.

​

• I am obsessed with “Friends”. I can’t even count how many times I have watched it.  It never seems to get old.  The other year I even went to the building in New York City that they used as the front of Monica and Rachel’s building.  It isn’t unusual for me to reference something off Friends.
